Jason Keller, Keller Kustoms

Hi, I'm Jason Keller, the proud owner of Keller Kustoms...

I've been in the autobody industry all my life, literally. My uncle opened his first body shop, Motorcar Body and Paint, the year I was born

The year I was born, my uncle opened his first body shop, Motorcar body and Paint. He and my father would let me tag along with them and that's where my passion for autobody painting was born.

Over the course of my career, I’ve been fortunate to be trained by some of the best professionals in the business and because of that, I’ve been recognized for my talent, my drive, and my appreciation for the art of autobody painting. Everyone that’s worked with me knows how meticulous I am and that I’m not done with the job until it’s done right.

Some notable projects that I’ve had the opportunity to work on include:

  • Former Professional basketball player Andrew Bogut’s SUV (Milwaukee Bucks 2005-2012)
  • Former Professional basketball player Rodney Buford’s excursion
  • Former Professional basketball coach and player George Karl’s wife’s car
  • 1969 Pontiac GTO used in the movie Sex Drive (Parts of it)

Mentors and beginnings

My first home will always be my uncle's shop, Motorcar Body and Paint. They were instantly recognized for their top tier quality and brought in cars from all across the Midwest (including the athlete's car's that I got to work on). They set the bar for quality repairs in the 80's and 90's and appeared in Bodyshop Magazine.

Included in their team, and another mentor of mine was Robert Sundholm, another pioneer in elite repair who also worked in the pits with NASCAR legend Alan Kulwicki.

My father, Ron Keller, was my biggest inspiration and the best teacher (no, really, he taught I-CAR courses). He taught me about the small but important details that make all the difference.

Personal Projects

I have a 1988 21-foot Baja speedboat, I completely restored from trailer up with over 600 hours into it with laying continuous coats of large glitter flake down to make it stand out like no other

I also took my father’s 2004 street glide and turned it into my dream bike with a paint job that turns heads and won first place in its first show this summer and even got recognition from Paul Jr. from Orange County Choppers.

Thanks!
